Account Coordinator

We are seeking an Account Coordinator who will be responsible for maintaining and supporting an efficient working environment for the accounts for which you are assigned. The coordinator will keep communication channels clear and open among members of the assigned account services group, as well as other departments within the agency. The candidate will also monitor the workflow within the Account Team to ensure work in progress is completed in a timely and efficient manner. The Account Coordinator will work under the direction of the Account Services team to learn appropriate strategy and account management skills.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and will be able to think quickly on their feet. They will be extremely organized and will be able to juggle multiple projects effectively. This person will go above and beyond the call of duty to get the job done and will be passionate about what they do. Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in strategy development initiatives for clients and new business; establish client aim and objective
  • Work with the account manager to effectively craft creative briefs according to client specifications
  • Work closely with creative teams to ensure that the consumer's perspective is reflected in the agency's product
  • Present ideas to clients with polished presentations and enthusiasm
  • Use research data to identify ideal audiences and optimum methods of communication
  • Evaluate publications, websites, radio stations, outdoor locations, etc. for their relevance in accomplishing campaign goals
  • Monitor success of campaign, suggesting changes and improvements where necessary
  • Successfully navigate and interact with a variety of different departments including finance, account, creative and production in order to meet client objectives
  • Stay abreast of industry standards and the ever changing relationship between advertising and consumer
  • Manage day to day activities while keeping an eye out for the agency overall
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to build demand for account planning; success bringing account planning to clients and teams who haven't used it before
  • A strategic and creative thinker who is skilled at analyzing and making use of data. Able to relay findings to creative team in an inspiring manner pushing creative output in positive direction
  • Excellent business and negotiation skills with superior presentation skills
  • Possess the ability to multi-task with above average organizational skills
  • Ability to work well independently or within a team, self-starter, self-motivated
  • Deep understanding and passion for marketing and advertising; experience in multicultural marketing a plus
  • Stay abreast of industry standards and the ever changing relationship between advertising and consumer
Credentials & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales or business or equivalent
  • At least 2 years in account planning and strategy
  • At least 2 years of experience at a media or advertising agency
