San Francisco, CA (Aug. 25, 2011)
Améredia, the leading multicultural marketing agency of record for Comcast, brought together key partners from the cable TV industry in August to share knowledge and insights and find points of collaboration and partnerships with diverse vendors.
The Cable TV ethnic submit was held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas from August 22 to 24. Presentations included 2010 Census updates from the U.S. Census Bureau, and case studies from Comcast and International Media Distribution. International programmers and diverse vendors and partners attended from all over the country and Canada.
“The nation’s demographics are changing at a pace that requires us to constantly reassess our marketing strategies,” said Pawan J. Mehra, founder and principal, Améredia. “The summit gave us a platform to share new knowledge and discuss fresh ways to reach this new mosaic of audiences.”
Améredia oversees multicultural marketing for Comcast in more than 17 different ethnicities nationwide and 20+ languages. The Cable TV Ethnic Summit was the first major initiative to bring together key industry players in the cable industry to share insights about multicultural marketing.
