Client: Xoom Corp provides an online-to-offline international money transfer service Xoom.com that allows people to remit money online globally. Senders remit money online and recipients receive money through a network of offline agents. Xoom was started by founders of PayPal (acquired by eBay) and also owns the Cash2India brand.
Markets: Xoom Corp hired Ameredia to manage its launch and expansion among global South Asian population. Focus countries included India and the Philippines that together comprise more then fifty percent of the international remittance volume.
Campaign: Ameredia developed, executed and managed a fully integrated marketing campaign involving strategy development; branding; media planning, buying and placements; online and offline creative production, translation, public relations, direct marketing, events & promotions, market research and partnerships.
Outcome: Initial campaign resulted in higher online customer traffic and conversions. Remittance service and transaction infrastructure was improved through consistent customer feedback.
